What is even happening?

Oh! In Restless, when Buffy confronts the primative in her dream:

I walk. I talk. I shop. I sneeze. I'm gonna be a fireman when the floods roll back. There's trees in the desert since you moved out, and I don't sleep on a bed of bones. Now give me back my friends!

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

Looking back, I find that there are so many great Buffy badass moments that no individual one really stands out, though I have some favourites: the alley-fight in The Gift, most of the ones people mentioned above...

The badass moments which really stand out for me are those which are memorable because they're from unexpected characters: Joyce hitting Spike with the axe in School Hard; Xander hitting Glory with the demolition-ball-thing.

And the very early fights in Tabula Rasa, just after they've had their memories wiped, as she discovers her Slayer powers. Those are sort-of Buffy.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The ones that immediately come to mind for me are:

-Joan from Tabula Rasa
-Buffy reclaiming her calling in Anne.
-Joined!Buffy in Primeval
-Buffy jumping into the pit with the Bezoar..and crawling back out. And Lyle's reaction.
-In Bargaining, fighting off the demons en masse and tossing them off her back like so much kindling.

That's my initial list, others have commented on them, I see.

Or in "Anne" with the "I'm Buffy."

With Polter-cow in liking "Anne" a lot.

Yay for Anne. And yes, that thing with Sunday. Hmmm, everyone's mentioned most of the good ones - oooh! When Ted hits Buffy: 'I was *so* hoping you'd do that.' Episode itself is pretty freaky, but that's cool.

I wonder if Principal Snyder--sorry, I can't spell your name!--gets bigger notice at cons for being Snyder or for being Quark on Deep Space 9.

He was also on Beauty and the Beast. I expect Trek geekery rules over all, though. He was a regular on DS9 for many years. BtVS semi only for three.

Who was he on Beauty and the Beast? I watched that religiously.
