The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plus, as Thomash pointed out, they were in the Jossverse/Hellmouth, where normal isn't really.

Different show, but how woud you characterize Fred and Gunn? I think they fit into the category too.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I think Tara was "convinced" because Buffy's death was magical, and a great sacrifice. Joyce's death was a natural progression. As I recall, Tara was against it, but went along with it.

re: Gunn/Fred--I'm evil, but the impression I get is "One female character, not allowed to use HoYay on American network TV--boy, that girl's going to go through a lot of relationships."

Ann, that's a ferret.

One of the great unanswered questions for me is "How did Willow convince Tara to bring Buffy back from the dead?"

I wank it as a combo of Tara's low self-confidence and a "Willow's my girlfriend who brought me back from Glory's mindwipe" mindset.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Lee, I guess my thing really centers more around Willow, now that I think about it. Huh.

Gunn/Fred was about as normal as the 'Verse gets, too.

What Connie said. Either Fred goes through lots of relationships, or Angel goes the Friends route of, "This sweeps period, Special Guest Star Hottie McCelebrity has a short-term relationship with One of Our Stars!"

But I'd still like to see Angel and Wes get together.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

But I'd still like to see Angel and Wes get together.

What. Ev.

That ship SO sailed in S2.

Gunn+Wes4EVAHh!!1!

I say, having been conviced, and I mean Dan/Casey convinced, pre-fandom, that they were totally dating.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I wanted a Fred/Willow hook up. Then they could have brought W over to Angel! Yeah, yeah!

What is even happening?

I'll always be convinced that by the time season 7 rolled around, the writers hated SMG and reflected that hatred in the writing of Buffy (the character).

Preach it, sister. I had such a hard time getting that thought out of my head, that most of the S7 posts and LJ entries either had to go meta (which I don't like to do), or I allowed my resentment just tainted much of the watching of it, and bit my tongue and posted all around it.

I certainly understand ASH wanting to go home so he could finally spend some time with his kids, but, wouldn't it have been nice to do more shooting in England? I know, I know, budgets etc., but, dammit, a woman can dream.
