How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

"God...my brilliance is now becoming a bit of a burden...get back to me." Dr. Cox - Scrubs

Too late. I just ordered on Darkhorse.com. I didn't even have to leave my house.

You guys are damn good.

Just looking on the Darkhorse site and wondering if it was only a planned 5 comic set or what? Is there a chance for more after that. I really need more Buffyverse in any way shape or form.

Before running out to buy, folks should know that some of us hated that story with a fiery passion.

Kali Rocha has been cast in a pilot for a comedy:

Yeah I saw that...I noticed that a few ex-Buffyverse actors are getting some pilots around for next fall.

So, I watched I, Robot. . . You, Jane today, and even though it was never one of my favorite episodes, it made me all sniffly. What got me was that final conversation where they were talking about how they'd never have normal relationships, and it was so true. None of them ever did. Buffy had vampire, super-soldier, vampire. Xander, after various demon detours got Cordy who, although human when she dated Xander, later became a half-demon and then evil. If you count Willow, then he got powerful witch (who also eventually went evil) and then on-again/off-again demon Anya. Willow got Oz(werewolf), Tara(witch) and finally Kennedy(slayer). Not a normal SO in the lot of them. Poor kids.

Demon parts would have been redundant for Sunnydale!Cordy.

Well, maybe that's not a bad thing. It's like how smart people tend to like other smart people. I don't know that I would have been able to take the drama/danger. Of course, I've never been one to date people that I work with :)

I don't know. I was much happier with R***y when he was just kinda cute, psychology grad student geek. And Xander and Willow were initially just "normal" kids who stepped up to the plate. I guess I'm using "normal" to mean neither demonic nor superpowered, not really "normal" to mean "average". I wouldn't want to see any of my kids with Joe Schmo.

I don't think that it would work with Joe Schmo. Okay, maybe Xander and Joe, but I would think that their partners would need to understand the need to fight the good fight. It would have to be someone that they could tell about what was happening, who wouldn't call the police when Xander comes home covered in blood.
