Just catching up after seeing "End of Days" last night. I did read almost every post.
The "show us" don't "tell us" debate irritated me only because it reminded me too much of my creative writing professor last year who wrote that on every page of every single person's paper. Although he did seem to like my subtle ode to "The Body" enough to give it an A. Oddly enough I titled the story "Smashed". I'm in way too deep at times.
As for 24. I love it. Kim must die.
As for my ranking of the seasons...this is so hard... 4,2,7,6,3,5,1...I can almost bet money no one has ever had that exact combo.
And for the article that listed "Doublemeat Palace" as the worst episode ever and also included "First Date". I don't agree. At all. What did my personal savior Jane Espenson ever do to you?
Also I fear that I am gonna get extra weepy come the final episode. Probably the whole damn thing. Even during the credits.
She's saying that the Bringers have a hive mind. If one Bringer knows something, they all know something.
Greeeeeeeat. They put the Borg in bathrobes and heavy shoes and poked their eyes out?
Seriously, I am as one with my Teppy. Not giving your audience any clue that they can do this, and then letting it out in an interview, is right up there with having the killer in a Whodunit be someone you introduced on page 258 of a 260-page novel, after scattering fake clues the entire way.
That makes me BONKERS.

Well, fan-bloody-tastic. There goes my idea for a Star Trek spinoff.
Wait. My idea for a Star Trek spinoff was a Borg sitcom based on
Mork and Mindy.
The Bringers are a Borg sitcom based on
The Odd Couple.
It's completely different. My pitch can go ahead as planned.
Does anyone wonder how many more episodes Smallville is gonna rip off from Buffy before they are done?
Edited to Add: I love Smallville, just asking a valid question about the show.

Does this mean that the trigger that finally turns Lex evil will be a night of perfect happiness with Clark?

Now we know how they are gonna answer that ever pesky question since the show started as to how they eventually become enemies. And also HoyYay heaven

I thought when they did the spell that caused Andrew to speak for captured!bringer, that this was pretty clear. He called himself a drone and I immediately thought hivemind (because - you know, bees) and pretty much everything he said was in the first person, plural. Am I the only one who was okay with that?
There was some discussion of whether the ep would run longer. It ran 43:55 according to the wildfeed slate. Which is about a minute longer than usual, I think.
I advise people to run--not walk--to the TWOP forums to check out today's banner ad. Warning: have kleenex handy and avoid drinking while reading.
That's awful. Prayers and good wishes.
