Seems like they want you to be confused by the name. It stands for "Orange County," California. That's why all the comparisons to "90210."
Buffy 4: Grr. Arrgh.
This is where we talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No spoilers though?if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. This thread is NO LONGER NAFDA. Please don't discuss current Angel events here.
Thanks, Nou. And this is a new show, on FOX?
The character of Seth was totally the one that I connected with right away. I couldn't find the right emotions to feel sorry for the character of Ryan just yet. He was getting handed a pretty good deal by Gallager's character even though the usual dissenting faction of the house (this time the mother) did not like it. So far I found the show pretty boring, again minus the character Seth who I would liken to putting Xander, Pacey, Ephram, and Screech in a blender. Hopefully everyone knows who all those characters are if not whatever.
I wasn't blown away by the Pilot yet I think I was expecting a Sunny version of Everwood or something and instead got 90210 meets Dawson's Creek. And right now I will take reruns of Dawson's Creek over the O.C. in a fight. Except Season 5. But I will be watching next week, and the week after that, and most likely the entire run of the show.
So, if Lane's fake Christian boyfriend has a different show -- that must mean he isn't on GG anymore. . . wonder if we'll ever see Lane again?
I think they're planning on having Dave in a few episodes to say goodbye.
Stoopid having to move.
Missed the new Queer Eye, missed the pilot for OC and missed the new Nip/Tuck (which - it was Vortex I believe? - I'm so happy I'm not the only person watching - it's soooo trashy! I love it.) Thank dog cable stations re-run everything a jillion times a week, but I think I am out of the loop on the OC now...
Tina -- the pilot of The OC is re-running tonight at 9.
Sweet! So much for all that unpacking....
I've only seen the first episode of Nip/Tuck -- my Tuesdays are still too crowded for me to watch that show too.
I taped QE so Jacqueline could watch. We've noted a trend where during the video watch, Kyan (grooming guy) throws his hands up in frustration nearly every episode as the straight guy neglects to follow the proper grooming regime. "He never said anything about a blow dryer!" "There was no product!"
