Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I have a friend who went to Bruce Campbell's booksigning (If Chins Could Kill) and had him autograph a bag of sugar. But he was really impressed by the guy who brought in a chainsaw.

All is well that ends in pizza.

But he was really impressed by the guy who brought in a chainsaw.

Crap, now I really want a Bruce Campbell autographed chainsaw.

I'd only bring in the blade. The whole saw? Classy but it could get you ejected. "Have you seen what Ash *did* with one of those, dude? "

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

"Have you seen what Ash *did* with one of those, dude? "

"Yeah, dude, he autographed it safely from the other side of the room using his evil hand. Sign here, please."

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm awful at remembering episode titles. What was the name of the episode where Spike sees Buffy crying on the steps and puts down the rifle to comfort her? Who wrote it? I think I know but then, I keep second guessing myself.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fool for Love, and I think Joss wrote it.

Ah! Thanks. I thought Petrie wrote Fool for Love.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yeah, Fool for Love was Petrie.

"You got twelve, and they got twelve. The old ladies are just as good as you are." -Dr. Einstein

Excuse me while I go get my gun and kidnap AH and take her away to my isolated mountain cabin to be my wilderness bride. (Hey, after awhile she'll like it; there will be racoon meat and badger burgers.)

Watched Doomed. Still can't decide if I'm amused or annoyed they got the quote from the episode wrong on the season 4 DVD box.
