"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So some UPN affiliates aired it and some didn't. Weird. Luckily I have on tape until DVDs come a'calling.

"what's left when you take biology and sociology out of the picture?" "An autistic hermaphodite." -Allyson

Unfortunately, our VCR was broken for a sizeable chunk of the middle season, so I've been trying to play catchup with reruns. But we just got the initial couple of credits, then commercial hell, then straight to the local propaganda. Curses.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

JohnSweden's in Toronto, so probably not UPN.

I can't even.

Not really an affiliate of UPN, no, they just have the Buffy rights in Ontario (same station here had them when WB did Buffy too). Not sure what would have happened with the CKVR re-run. Would they have kept their original satellite dl and run that tonight, or would they have gotten a fresh squirt on Sunday?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

t looking at the pics of AH

You know, it's funny. I don't think of Willow on the show as being particularly beautiful. Cute, attractive, sure. Beautiful? Not so much.

But Alyson Hannigan is jaw-droppingly gorgeous.

Odd, that.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I've noticed that too. I think they down play (or play differently) the things that make her really lovely, like say the huge eyes. And play up the other stuff, like her lips which are thin.

Of course she's got one of the best smiles on any screen, large or small.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think the fact that she was introduced as a badly dressed kind of dorky character when the show started was one factor, just as it was with NB, who is much too good looking to really be a Xander.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

As Willow, they keep the hair cutesy. Her face is unusual, with strong, almost masculine features and those incredible forest eyes. In shots like these, the hair softens the nose and chin, and brings out the eyes best.

I'd love to see AH do drag. That may be just me.

Thanks for all the fish.

just as it was with NB, who is much too good looking to really be a Xander.

I think that Joss commented (on the WTTH DVD) that NB was too pretty and muscular to really be that unpopular in high school.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Maybe by late high school. I don't know. I knew a guy all through middle school who didn't get many second glances. He wasn't unattractive, just not one of those guys girls tend to notice.

By the end of his senior year I thought he was very very pretty. Of course, by then I was dating someone, but I'm sure he's done well for himself.
