“I'll always have a soft spot for “Helpless” which was my first solo Buffy script because it also had such an impact on the whole mythology of the show. It got Giles fired. I came in pitching that idea - thinking Giles would get his job back at the end of the episode. Instead, it just changed the course of the series.”
So we can thank Fury for Wesley, at least indirectly? Good man.
this Fury interview
of course, mentions That Casting Spoiler for AtS.
eta and some OTHER AtS casting spoilers I didn't know. Keee - rap. Oh well. Would have seen their names in the credits, anyway.
SPOILERPHOBES, BEWARE!!!
Sorry - I added it to the original post. I forget there are people who manage to avoid that stuff.
Shanshu, no big on my part, anyway. I don't mind casting spoilers, generally. But it is important to warn, for spoiling a phobe is like feeding mogweis after midnight. It gets ugggggly.

And don't ever throw them in a swimming pool.

Regarding the other spoilers contained in that Fury interview: (whitefonted only for those who've read it and are afraid of having their current spoilage tweaked, no spoilage for those who haven't read it, I promise) I got the impression that Fury was throwing around "will be appearing" a little casually. This interview was held a couple of months ago, I believe. So, you know, might not be spoilers at all. I avoid spoilers, and I certainly didn't feel spoiled by it.
