I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think Emily lurks here on occasion still.

She posted a few weeks ago.

I'm all sad 'cause the new guy doing her old Slate piece isn't half as funny, drat it.

Less and less reason for me to read the thing when I'm not working on campus, I suppose.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Sigh. Anya's line about David Brinkley in OMWF just took on some unintended narrative irony.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Anne, I was just thinking that. Now I'm a bit sniffly. Who knew I was allergic to newscasters, of all things?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Yeah, same here.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

They're selling the claddagh ring. Well, that got a "hey, that's not for sale!" reaction out of me.

(Besides, isn't it still stuck in Angel's left cheek?)

You speak your mind, and are annoying. It's one of the things I love most about you.

(Thanks for the nice words on the article. I figured it was my last chance for a while to convince my editors to indulge my Buffymania.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not happy about the claddagh sale. But I suppose Fox needs the extra six Gs, right?

Hey, emilyn! Good onya.
