Oh - and the whole damn season on DVD is worth it just to have the scene of Buffy scrunching the metal vase thing when Angel bites her - you know the kicking the table over thinly veiled metaphor for sex scene - I was very happy I purchased the DVDs when I saw that they had included that. Oh. Well there goes my great justification for paying the full price for the DVD - but it wasn't on the FX version - soooo - still an OK justification. (like I really need to justify - but you know) And yeah - damn hot.

Have to edit to add that that was this was the first time I have used the quick-edit formatting thingy to quote and I am really kind of too proud that it worked. I'm sure that if "Lessons" had been on instead of High School Reunion (on my affiliate) I wouldn't have been feeling quite so bereft. I could have mind-tricked myself a little longer. Or at least, the first Tuesday without Buffy wouldn't have hit so hard. I mean, it had to come eventually, right? Just not so soon. People have talked about not watching the finale, or the last ten minutes of it, to keep it alive in their minds. I couldn't do that, but I realized I have my own little semi-subconscious avoidy scheme. I haven't listened to the last couple of Succubus Club broadcasts, even though I know I'll enjoy them tremendously. The hindbrain trying to stave off a bit more grief, I guess.

Anybody see the rerun of the Howard Stern where SMG is on promoting the first Scooby Doo? I can't stand him - but I saw her and stopped thinking it was recent. She looked so uncomfortable and it was so awful to watch - I had to do the mute thing when he was talking and look through my hand. Then I had to stop myself from kicking the TV - and considering she agreed to be on his show, I'm not sure why I felt so protective of her....just kind of sensitive about all things Buffy these days I guess.

I was PLANNING on watching the repeat of Lessons on my first Buffy day with no new Buffy ever. . . but UPN put the Models thingy on instead.

I figure the first ever Official No-New-Buffy Tuesday thing can't come until the last Tuesday in September/First in October at the earliest. We never have new Buffy this last in May, anyhow.

But I'm okay with it. I had my breakdown before the finale. The finale just left me in a happy place.

Cindy - my Bronze and Beta name is/was squireboy, a name that was a holdover from another hobby. I used to post alot in late S2, S3 and early S4, usually in the post-ep discussion, then I drifted into lurkdom. I did get posts in on the last day of the WB Bronze and have posted from time to time on the Beta. I finally got to the PBP in 2002. (There are pics up somewhere) The reason I'm JohnSweden here is that I promised myself if I were making a new BuffyID someday, I would grab that name. (It's from a Joss quote about Hollywood people taking his calls) So here I is. No witness protection, just taking the opportunity to have a Buffier name. :)
