I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

Nobody

My mother is having a day out of Flooded. She was getting central air installed. The installers noticed her furnace (which is only 9 years old) is rusted out, in some part that can eventually make it go kaboom. So she now needs a new furnace.

When she was walking in the yard with the HVAC guy (for some reason) she slipped on a rock and went right down on her face.

When the HVAC guys are putting in the furnace and AC unit, they find a water pipe is leaking onto a gas pipe, and corroding it. She needs a new water pipe (and the HVAC guys don't do this - it's not a sales gimmick) so she has a call into her plumber, for that one. She needs two 25 foot lengths of pipe. As a courtesey, the HVAC guys take a look at the gas pipe, it's not just corroding, but corroded, and leaking gas in small amounts, so she'll have to have the plumber change that as well.

I told her about Buffy's, "No full copper repipe."

She pretended to laugh. But I think she actually wanted to beat the HVAC guys to death.

The evil is this way?

I like to read some of the forums occasionally, too. I think the Firefly forum was troubling some of the admins, filled as it was with such lack of snark.

The forums. They are both better and worse. I'm all for folks getting their snark out, and some of the comments are pretty damn funny, even when they piss on a show I like. But there's a "can you top this" quality to some of the posts. And some of the Buffy threats after a certain character got shot was just ugly.

What's the longest anyone has gone in the Buffyverse without being struck by the smoking curse? 'Cause it looks like Faith has a pretty good shot at breaking the record.

Well, she's going to have to go a ways to beat Spike I think.

"God...my brilliance is now becoming a bit of a burden...get back to me." Dr. Cox - Scrubs

Man, have you guys seen the out of this world sums of money they are getting for once worn clothes and bit props on EBay? If this doesn't scream "We WANT another spinoff, we NEED another spinoff, we will PAY crazy money for merchandise for another spinoff, I don't know what does".

I can only read TWoP if it's a show I don't actually care about,

Flying by to say, Miss Alli is my One True Recapper (and moving on to personal deity.)

But, I think her love for TAR shows in everything she writes, even if she doesn't love every element. That's the line that gets crossed with most people. (Recappers and "fans" alike.)

Forums mostly just plain scare me.

She's already ahead of him, isn't she? He was evil up until S7. Smoking was implied in CWDP, and then he started snacking. He smoked in Dirty Girls (with Faith), then got the scrubbing bubbles in Chosen.

Although, now that I think about it, Harmony should probably get some sort of acknowledgement for sucking so much at being evil.

$11, 000 for a signed script?

You think one of those high bidders might be named Kristen? Because, if so, I got some scripts that they might be interested in...

I used to sell this when I worked in Housewares at Fields. It was part of a whole collection of Roosterware which provided us sales girls with many a laugh. Needless to say, they weren't going for over $300. In fact, I think they ended up on clearance.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, when they break it down item by item, the Summers home starts looking fugly.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ah, yes, but the chance to say "I have a cock pitcher from buffy"?

Priceless.
