That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Nice review!

To me as well, btw, it seems clear that Anya saved Andrew.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Wait, does this mean there's a hellmouth in Seattle too? That explains Bill Gates.

Yes. Seriously. Well, I do think there's a Hellmouth in Tukwila, which makes perfect sense if you've been there.

In addition to Microsoft, you have to look at Boeing (though HQ has moved, it did get it's start just north of the Hellmouth), and Starbucks. Oh, and Kenny G. Possibly Pearl Jam, depending on how snarky I feel.

And in Seattle you've got Jilli who is sort of a perky counterpoint to the evil. I can just see her sitting at the edge of the hellmouth giggling as flames leap up and lick her toes, Clovis fuming that they don't just go in already, Pete trying to get her credit cards without upsetting her balance...

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I do think there's a Hellmouth in Tukwila

Tukwila? I do not know this Tukwila. Are you sure it isn't more of a Heckmouth kinda place?

Tukwila is directly to the south of Seattle, by about 5 miles. It's the home of Southcenter mall, and the former home of Longacres. It's where the 5 and the 405 meet.

When referred to by people Not From Here, it would probably just get called "Seattle", but rest assured, it's not a Heckmouth.

The evil is this way?

Joss gave a post-finale interview.

ETA -- Contains casting (and very vague plot) spoilers for "Angel."

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Warning: that interview contains some spoilers for Angel--the casting ones that have been discussed in Spoilage Lite.

Another social casualty...

Warning: the article Narrator linked to is spoilery for Angel.

Art Crawl!!!

Daniel -- thank you so much for the screen caps!!!

One of my favorite ones is the one of Buffy with the Angel cartoon (no. 57.)

The season 7 continuity thing I realized when watching Something Blue was Riley talking to Buffy about driving "out past the vineyards".

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Though, FWIW, IMO anyone who wants to avoid these spoilers will need to move to an igloo until September or whenever Angel premieres this fall.
