Suddenly I want Andrew to show up on Angel. In the same episode that Harmony returns. Not sure exactly why.

Maybe because Tom Lenk played one of her minions?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Got this in an email today. Had no idea I'd hooked the girl on Buffy. She was in Peace Corps with me.

I want you to know you created a Buffy fiend. Since being home, I've watched as many reruns as i could. I taped the musical, and i love it. ...i even have the soundtrack. :P what did you think of the finale? i thought it was pretty nice: more uplifting and inspiring. though i didn't quite understand what was with the angel thing. slightly unnecessary, except that he was part of the beginning, i guess. there was nice continuity. and i liked that they left it open. AND THAT THEY EMPOWERED THE WOMEN! nice.

Obviously hasn't seen season 2. But it's very touching...

Not to be a pooper, but isn't that a ginormous spoiler for Angel in ted's post, which was promptly quoted by Cindy?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I thought it was wishful thinking, not a spoiler.

Sean - as far as I know, neither Tom Lenk nor Mercedes McNab are going to be on Angel. It was just wishful thinking, not casting spoilage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, it depends on if it's true or not, doesn't it?

I hadn't thought it was.

At this point, Mercedes McNab would have to be on an episode for 20 minutes before I'd even accept it as a spoiler, nevermind truth. She's been floating rumors that she was coming back since Disharmony.

eta - not that I've heard rumors this time. I haven't.

Eh. Okay.

Somebody told me about MM* on Angel in all earnestness. As it is, I never consider casting spoilers to be terribly spoilery, but if you guys aren't worried about it, it's fine with me.

(*MM in this case meaning Ms. McNab, not Mr. MiracleBorn)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I can't make Xander fit, though. Poor guy.

Xander's power is that of the Comfortador. He embraced that his power was that he was the heart. He started this journey at the end of S6 when he saved the world with his mouth. But during the year he also comforted Dawn by acknowledging how extraordinary she was. And he rallied the potentials for Buffy in Dirty Girls. And he even did Buffy's bidding to remove Dawn. Also he let go of his anger/bitterness with Anya. It was emotional growth and acceptance of what kind of man he was going to be.

Yeah, but he was also ripped off. Or rather, we were ripped off on Xander's story. Makes me sad. There was a lot to tell, there.
