So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Want!

Wait until the coffee finishes hitting my system.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Can't read it at work anyway--that wasn't a "want now" so much as a "you better work with that plot bunny."

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

So Spike said "I'm drowning in footwear"? I thought he said "I'm drowning in Cool Whip!"

Both give me a big "hee."

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

If you think that's bad, you should have seen the energy creature that descended on Salon during the Buffy finale. They were doing a good job ignoring her, probably thanks to ENUF, but that didn't stop her.

I have to admit to morbid curiosity as to the nature of this energy creature.

Disaffected college student

Jenny:

No, no, those hints were perfect, and I finished solving it with only a minimum of self-loathing. I started with the process hint, but I'm so dense, and my mind works so strangely, I had to count how many clues there were, then try to think of a 20-letter tribute. I swear to you, I spent 10 minutes earlier trying to think of a Buffy tribute and failing, and then "20-letter tribute. Let's see . . . oh, that's easy! That's 20 letters, of course!" Regarding outlines of letters: I really meant what you described, I just had a hard time saying it clearly. Regarding what-is-the-talisman: Again, my brain likes to take vacations. Unable was I ere I got whacked upside the head with clues.

Thanks, and now that I solved the whole thing, I'm upgrading my assessment to fantastic. With a side of deviousness.

"Angel and Spike, The Starsky and Hutch of the Netherworld" - Albert Einstein in his speech to the U.N. Security Council, Sept., 1955.

So what was Xander's journey in S7?

He became working man, Xander. Got a car and a suit. Sharpened up his construction skills on Casa De Summers. He relieved himself of an extraneous eyeball. And he learned to eat, nearly becoming double the fun. And we learned that of the two regular humans in the gang, Dawn was the tougher one.

I'd say Xander had a full season.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Another monster meara, or may I say Smonster Meara?

the clarity of Umberto Eco and the direction of a blind gopher

victor, may I tag?

Yes, I feel bad about the house. The tilework on the sideboard was gorgeous.

Umm, gorgeous foamboard (S2 or 3 DVD extra) (but I agree)

It just occurred to me that we never did find out what was in the note she left him after the best night of his life.

Dear Spike, ...
Teppy!!

The cross Angel gave her

No, that's on eBay.

Yup. 3 of 'em going for over $2K

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the start of the season none of the creative staff knew if SMG was going to sign on for another season or not?

Your reasonness, joss has said he already knew, but I don’t know if that was a factor in crafting the major arc.

Anya would have died killing Caleb. Vengeance Demon Champion of Women vs The Ultimate Misogynist.

that would have rocked

btw, I actually typed sin-off but caught it in time.

A faith/oz sin-off?!? jilli, your hubby broke me too!

I adore Pete's take, but I seriously think Oz would have given us another pateneted "Huh." not "Oh." You all may debate that as you will.

Whoa! I was just going to post that. Me 3!

That initial blast of power shot through the top of the Hellmouth cavern, and through the roof of the school building. Spike was, essentially, and aided by mystical mojo shit, channelling sunlight.

Teppy you’re a friggin’ genius, or I’m an idiot, or both.

They start in one position and end in the other, though I haven't quite decided who starts on top and who ends there. Quiet, as you say, and they make it last as long as they can. And they fall asleep promising each other, "one more time, in the morning," but as it turns out they oversleep and there isn't time.

I like Susan's version.

So Spike said "I'm drowning in footwear"? I thought he said "I'm drowning in Cool Whip!"

Apparently our hivemind is very focused on Cool Whip. At least where Spike is involved.

Rewatched part of EoD and all of Chosen last night. During the Anya/Andrew hospital speech, she talks about how humans all know they're going to die, yet they are always surprised. So during Chosen, she is killed from behind and yes, very surprised.

If you're like me and have a sick fascination with this, Spike's FFL outfit is at $8100 with 3.5 days to go. It's the highest priced item right now.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Nah -- if you're like me, when you watched it you were just trying to take all the activity in. I didn't notice it until my second viewing.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

This has probaly been mentioned, but am I wrong in noticing that everyone on the Buffy Big Bus was human? That NO demon-y type things made it out of Sunnydale?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That NO demon-y type things made it out of Sunnydale?

Well, they only had the one.
