Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

So, how 'bout that Buffy?

Having huge amounts of fun here. There are fat pills and alcohol. And baked goods.

Hello! I must be going.

I'm confused, are Victor and Thessaly in Worcester or is everybody in Somerville?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Hi, DX!!! Hi, Somervillistas! Hi, fat pills!

I expect to see the Quotables thread fill up once people have had a chance to process and rewatch. I particularly liked Wood's tour-guide spiel.

Isn't that just another word for baked goods? Or are you eating pure lard?

The evil is this way?

I think I remember a story on Salon a few years ago about the government giving "financial assistane" (read='bribes') to TV shows for including Afterschool Special-esque messages. And I'm pretty sure Buffy was among the shows that they mentioned as being on the receiving end of the assistance.

No Hobgobble, they couldn't figure out what Buffy's "message" was and thus couldn't figure out how to insert an "anti-drug" messsage into the show.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Dang, they really are getting back to the female empowerment theme.
