Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sneaky because it's not "hey, do we want a comics thread?" It's, "Hey, we're already using that thread for that anyway...." when the truth is there are people interested in comics who have never been into that thread (see MM, above), and clearly not all the comics conversations are in there (see any other thread). I think publically changing the focus of that thread will lead to the same amount of increased traffic as opening a new thread, honestly.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Should the thread name be modified a little?

I'm all in favor of changing the name altogether -- to The Android's Dungeon and Comic Shop.

Or, Frodo's of Shelbyville.

What is even happening?

Have you seen the Angel thread lately, or the Minearverse today? (That's not a flip question, nor am I ragging on the comic lovers. I'm just trying to state it plainly. The conversation is happening, it's just dispersed).

What if we don't change the name, or don't change the name much (i.e. The Jossverse and others in Other Media), and just add "and other comics" to the header and slug?

Our wings are not tired.

Popping to end of thread to assure all that votes are being received.

Resume.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Did we really allow the chick in FLORIDA to count our votes??

Indeed I have. I am for us having a comics thread. I just think we should go through the process, and not just slip it by.

All is well that ends in pizza.

How about something like:

"Other Realms"

Subheading: "Other Media such as Graphic Novels, etc., including Jossverse Comics."

EDIT;

For instance:

Other Realms 1: Rebirth isn't guaranteed.

As someone who hangs out in Jossverse, I'm really in favor of the thread repurposing. I was going to suggest it myself.

I'm really disliking the "Other Realms" name, though.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'm with Tom. Welcome repurposing. Leave the title alone, and just change the slug.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm all for repurposing, but I'd rather go through the process. It doesn't take long, on this issue it'll probably be relatively painless, and I don't want to set a precedent of "We can ignore the process if it looks like it's something everyone wants to do." I know the repurposing isn't a huge change, but it is a change.
