So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Heh. I never looked in J'verse...I always assumed it was All-Fray and ONLY Fray, I guess.

More fool me.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I finally looked in J'verse, and read something that made me squeal with glee.

Expand Jossverse. I think it's a swell idea.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

As a non-spicy-brains-having denizen of Jossverse, I'm cool with making it comics in general.

Could it be 'toons, also? Like Teen Titans and Justice League?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Could it be 'toons, also? Like Teen Titans and Justice League?

Yeah!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There's a lot of other comics talk in there. Always has been.

Huh. I don't see anything wrong with making that official.

Yeah, let's just expand the J'verse.

Could it be 'toons, also? Like Teen Titans and Justice League?

NO!

Just kidding.

Yeah!!

I should probably be honest, though: this is kind of sneaky thead creep. I only don't mind it because it's creeping in the direction I think we should be going (ie, all-purpose pop culture board) in a post-Jossverse world.

But -- is it sneaky thread creep if we're discussing codifying a change?

What is even happening?

So we're really just talking about a change to the slug and header (and possibly title) assuming that the thread regulars are okay with this?

Current thread header (info on top of page one of thread) reads:

Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more. Please don't get into spoilery details in the first week of release.

Current slug (or whatever, on the main page, and message center, under the link to the thread) reads:

Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more.

1) Would the same spoiler policy suffice (or what is the de facto spoiler policy now, for non-B/A comics, books, & more)?

2) Should the thread name be modified a little?

3) How should the header and slug read?

Can anyone think of any other questions or issues?

Sneaky because it's not "hey, do we want a comics thread?" It's, "Hey, we're already using that thread for that anyway...." when the truth is there are people interested in comics who have never been into that thread (see MM, above), and clearly not all the comics conversations are in there (see any other thread). I think publically changing the focus of that thread will lead to the same amount of increased traffic as opening a new thread, honestly.
