It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Frankly, statutory research gets us nowhere at this point. If 20th wants to sue us they will, DMCA notwithstanding.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Yeah, after I posted I realized that. If it's not copy protected, the DMCA might not apply, but it's still a form of stealing (in Fox' view). Scripts and audio clips aren't copy protected either.

Trust my rage

Frankly, statutory research gets us nowhere at this point.

Yeah - I agree. I saw some questions about what the DMCA covered and thought this might help.

I was a bit snippy. But legal at 20th doesn't care whether it falls under the statute or not-- they'll send a C&D if they feel their interests are being threatened, and they won't hesitate to file a complaint.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

True this. See Buffy Cross & Stake, which got slapped with a C&D due to images AND spoilers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe the C&D will be to get us to stop calling that poor woman about the DVDs.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Maybe the C&D will be to get us to stop calling that poor woman about the DVDs.

Maybe it's time for a trade: "We'll be nice; jut give us the fucking DVDs."

Of course, lack of DVDs is the whole reason behind the alleged naughtyness in the first place.

Our wings are not tired

I've been seeing a trend lately with intellectual property issues to skip the C&D and jump right to filing a suit. It's happened to a few theatres over use of music.

Snerk.

And for the record, there was a listen'n'post 'cause Tim had another radio interview. And Tim himself showed up while he was on hold.
