I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Ahahahahaha! Too long, though.

I like "Bureaucracy 3: The Lurkers Support Me In E-Mail" best, but would also suggest "Bureaucracy 3: I Can't Go On, I'll Go On" for that Beckett touch.

Bureaucracy 3: Like Beckett, it goes on.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Is there a point where we pull an Alan Greenspan and close registrations so our economy doesn't spin out of control?

The Well does this, and when active users drop down to a certain level, they reopen reg.

I guess I'm just not sure what our average server use is, and since we'll move to a less expensive server, eventually, can we sustain what we have? Can we afford more growth?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Good question. I think it'll ease off some as the Wonderfalls hysteria dies down. If not, maybe we should hint that it's time for SaveWonderfalls to put up their own forum.

My new metaphor for massive influx of newbies is The Nile overflowing its banks, spreading it's warm effluvial and fertile mud (stellar new posters) and then retreating back to its banks (drivebys keep driving).

I'm reminded of the Simpsons episode where they build the pool, and the entire population of Springfield drops by. I've been feeling a little like Marge making eleventy million sandwiches for the guests.

What is even happening?

How about...

That's kind of sexy. Maybe I am closer to the earth.
