You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Clearly, I was whispering in italics and here you go with a normally weighted font. Why don't you just bold it next time.

Your italics are not as discreet as you think they are....

You're supposed to whisper in small font.

Or I'm an extremely sophisticated computer program-slash-hologram.

...which somebody has gone to considerable effort to render in such a manner that it still looks like a sockpuppet.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

You know, we've spent five years trying to convince Holli's parents we're not axe-murderers and all it takes is one little "Let's pull her face off!" from MM to waste it all.

You never know when an Internet friend might the Ghost of The Toad Holler Amusement Park. I'm just sayin'.

Wouldn't be the first time I've gotten burned on that.

She's truly outrageous.

And the earworm that never stops begins yet again.

Truly, truly, truly outrageous

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wouldn't be the first time I've gotten burned on that.

Looks suspiciously at Sean.

Teppy! Don't let him take you to King's Island!

I can't even.

Holli's a computer program who's doing a hologram? Man, I can never keep up with backchannel.

Hmpf.

Our wings are not tired

I'm just catching up on a lot of this and I'm divided on it now that I'm finally seeing some of what has happened with Beej.

Up front I'll say that she was very much getting under my skin in a bad bad way. I've been working through some family crap for the past week or two and it seems that every time I posted something I got psychoanalyzed by her and she didn't know the whole story. I post some of the stuff I do to bounce it off the Buffistas who are now people that I know and trust. I don't do it to get a shrink to tell me what's fucked up with me and try to fix me.

Now, that said, I've only been here a touch more than a year. It's easy to mis-step, and looking at it I did many of the things that Beej has just done. I popped on a few months before the F2F and saw that it was around the corner from me and jumped in to help. I offered to do the music stuff and at the end of it all realized that I stepped on Hec's toes. Not cool of me, and thing is I didn't really clue in to what I'd done until much much later.

Here's the outcome for me though, I delurked right away and felt a very immediate bond with the folks here. I'm not always an easy person to deal with, and yet, this Christmas this group of people did the most amazing thing for me with getting me a gift when I was just at a really low point. It brought tears to my eyes, and thinking about it now still does. It's not easy to be here at b.org sometimes. In fact, this is a community that you have to work to be a part of. I think that's part of the beauty.

As much as Beej has been making me want to yell invectives (And I have yelled them back-channel) I didn't want her to run away. Alas if that's her choice, then it is done I suppose.

And with that, I think I'll end this rambling post...I'm not sure what I was getting at now.

No. She's a computer program that created a hologram that's disguised as an elderly inuit dutchwoman from Hoboken who is using Trudy, Hil, meara and SA as sockpuppets. Pay attention.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Damn. I think Clovis has some serious competition to worry about.

Okay, that fired off my bullshit detectors. Next thing, you'll be telling me the blinvisible internet people get married to each other. I mean, born at night and all ...

Yeah, ya big galoot! OTOH, I didn't have to haul a PA system halfway across the city like we did in Chicago. Of course, that was kind of fun riding around with Jon and Emily and talking about binomials and Goldfrapp.
