I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Also, feeling INCREDIBLY stupid and slow here, but who is Frankenbuddha?

Ah. Duh. And thanks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

especially now that we're in a new quotables thread (so it's at the bottom of the subscription list)

It's only at the bottom of the index page if there are no recent posts. Threads with the newest posts go at the top. If you're seeing it at the bottom -- that's your first sign that there's no deathmatching.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, but it comes up last if you use Read New.

I have no opinions on any current issues, by the way.

Thanks for all the fish.

I thought that Read New would bring up the thread that had the most recent post, time-wise?

I must be forgetting the code. It used to be that recency determined the order things came up with Read New too.

I'll have to go look.

Really? Huh. I'm pretty sure that's not my experience. For instance, Un-American or Jossverse in Other Media consistently come up first for me if there are any new posts there.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

There are occasionally notices and natter in Press that don't seem to fit the official Press definition, but it's only a minor irritation to me.

Natter in Press is stomped as a matter of policy.

Notices that don't find generally wind up with someone in here (usually someone for whom Press and Beep Me are the only places they check, so, old Buffistas with no time for the board) bringing up the irritation factor.

I'm not much around the other threads. Who are the old Buffistas not much around who have been irritated by it? Sincerely, because AFAIK, the people who have posted about being irritated are around a lot.
