Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

I think David is very wise

True.

scrolling past is one of the most important social lubricants we've got

And I should add that if this were to end up driving us to consensus, then vote schmote - we don't need to stinkin' vote (I'm speaking only to my own just previous post, by the way, not to anyone else who may have suggested one).

ETA: And, yeah, yeah, Hec is wise.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I think that, especially now that we're in a new quotables thread (so it's at the bottom of the subscription list), it is good to have the press posts. Otherwise, hitting "read new", you don't get to quotables till you're caught up in Bitches/Natter.

Or, to not speak for people not me, replace 'you' with 'me'.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

IIRC, we've only got two more characters to deathmatch once the current Spike round is done, so it's not like this is going to be an ongoing thing.

Also, feeling INCREDIBLY stupid and slow here, but who is Frankenbuddha?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

especially now that we're in a new quotables thread (so it's at the bottom of the subscription list)

It's only at the bottom of the index page if there are no recent posts. Threads with the newest posts go at the top. If you're seeing it at the bottom -- that's your first sign that there's no deathmatching.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, but it comes up last if you use Read New.

I have no opinions on any current issues, by the way.

Thanks for all the fish.

I thought that Read New would bring up the thread that had the most recent post, time-wise?
