Lexicogs already use "pron" (for pronunciation) all the time. (I have no independent data on their non-pronunciation 'pron' use.) You-all are gonna really discombobulate them.
pron or pr0n is a pretty common internettism, so they need to have it on file, whether from us or somewhere else.

Reading the FAQ for cites is NOT cheating, by lexicographer rules.
Sounds like legitimate lexicographing to me.
But, really, the illegetimate lexicographing is more fun.
