Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My goodness, I can't believe that I ever had enough time to devote to helping with that-- let alone the voting thing.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

The buffista community in LJ should definitely be included.

Although there are people on the community who I've never seen on the board. At least one complete stranger (to me) has used it repeatedly to spam put out a call for some role-playing game being held elsewhere on LJ.

So, um. I don't know what I'm saying.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

there are people on the community who I've never seen on the board

The same can happen or has happened elsewhere. The LJ community isn't much of a draw because nowt other than "Down for you too?" happens there, so no one's likely to stay. No reason strangers can't drop by WX or PF and never care to come here.

Or maybe people have followed that link here.

I'm not sure where to post this:

I was away from the computer since (my) Friday afternoon, and sometime between then and now the voting has began, as I saw in "Press". It would make sense that in the over-24-hours since then at least one person would vote, right? Because I got no voting e-mails, not even one. And I did get other e-mails to that account, so I can't tell if the problem is on my end or not.

I tried to vote myself, and if I'm the one who both votes and counts the votes, I should get 2 e-mails, right? One as the voter and one as the counter, right? IIRC, that's the way it's supposed to work. Well, I got the one mail, addressed to votes@buffistas.org, which I think is the voter's e-mail, not the counter one, and that's it.

So I'm awaiting Stompies help. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for all the fish.

I did vote, just to let you know.

Thanks, Elena.

The only thing I can think about (and, of course, it's not like I know anything about these subjects) is that votes@buffistas.org doesn't point to my profile address, maybe due to a typo or something? I'll wait till People With Real Knowledge wake up, I guess.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I voted, too.

Don't know why you're not getting them, unless votes@buffistas.org wasn't forwarded to the correct address. Did you check your spam box? Maybe yahoo decided that a bunch of forwarded e-mails were spam and tossed them.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

When I counted votes, my ISP e-mail wouldn't take them, but yahoo dropped them into the regular inbox just fine.

I voted, Nilly.

My profile address is a 'yahoo' one, and I've counted votes with it once before, and it worked just fine then. Plus, I've been getting e-mails in it all day long now (none of them a Buffista vote, however), so I don't know what else to check on my side, at least until someone With Real Knowledge helps me out.
