Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Thanks, Elena.

The only thing I can think about (and, of course, it's not like I know anything about these subjects) is that votes@buffistas.org doesn't point to my profile address, maybe due to a typo or something? I'll wait till People With Real Knowledge wake up, I guess.

DXMachina - Feb 01, 2004 2:54:33 am PST #6692 of 10005
You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I voted, too.

Don't know why you're not getting them, unless votes@buffistas.org wasn't forwarded to the correct address. Did you check your spam box? Maybe yahoo decided that a bunch of forwarded e-mails were spam and tossed them.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

When I counted votes, my ISP e-mail wouldn't take them, but yahoo dropped them into the regular inbox just fine.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I voted, Nilly.

My profile address is a 'yahoo' one, and I've counted votes with it once before, and it worked just fine then. Plus, I've been getting e-mails in it all day long now (none of them a Buffista vote, however), so I don't know what else to check on my side, at least until someone With Real Knowledge helps me out.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I thought erinaceous was getting the votes for this one?

I thought erin would get the "opt in" forms if the proposal passes. And according to Jon B. "Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!" Jan 27, 2004 8:20:24 pm PST and the following post, at least ita and Jon meant for the votes to still be counted by me.

Our wings are not tired.

ita indicated in Light Bulbs that she was directing the votes to Nilly. Yes, I voted early, though not often, too.

edit: insent to Nilly to check mail & say Hi! Also, check out the symmetrical number, yo.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

damn. Should've tested it first.

t edit I did test the script. It's the votes --> Nilly email forwarding that should've been tested.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think we've used the forward here yet. I just deleted the entry and re-created it. I may have missed something.

Off to vote.
