Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't think of any conversation that's ever been had there that didn't start "Hey, I can't get the board to load. Anyone else having problems?"

Every now and again someone stumbles onto it and posts a community announcement, but yeah. It's just never been mentioned officially as an offshoot of the b.org collective, and although there's a link from there to here, there's no text, you know?

We should officially embrace it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We should officially embrace it.

Group hug!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hmm. I dunno about that for officialness. It falls under other people's terms of service, etc., just like other backchannel.

Although, I guess, as much as pf, sure.

Yeah -- this is the only thing under our terms. All the auxiliary services (WX too) are similarly other people's.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

The buffista community in LJ should definitely be included.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Except what is in Boxed Set. Good luck with explaining that consistently. The "this is not a general TV thread" idea is repeatedly bypassed.

Yeah, but we don't admit to that.

Oh, don't think I'm not taking notes.

But seriously, that line will need to be rewritten, and Boxed Set will probably need to be explained.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My goodness, I can't believe that I ever had enough time to devote to helping with that-- let alone the voting thing.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Although there are people on the community who I've never seen on the board. At least one complete stranger (to me) has used it repeatedly to spam put out a call for some role-playing game being held elsewhere on LJ.

So, um. I don't know what I'm saying.

The same can happen or has happened elsewhere. The LJ community isn't much of a draw because nowt other than "Down for you too?" happens there, so no one's likely to stay. No reason strangers can't drop by WX or PF and never care to come here.

Or maybe people have followed that link here.
