Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

If I only had a brain...

But some Buffistas, I hear, do not have LJs. Or so I would have heard, were there a backchannel. Oh, wait. I can't hear those Buffistas because I have backchannel and they do not. Nyah nyah nyah, and keep banging those rocks together!

All is well that ends in pizza.

I see there's a Buffistas LJ.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

the body to which we would be sending this info has started a LJ! We're thinking that you can friend the LJ and then they can use your posts. Cool, huh?

Very cool. How would one go about finding out the name of this lj? Profile e-mail is good, and my lj name's amchau.

I can't hear those Buffistas because I have backchannel and they do not.

For general information, lj have removed the invite code thing. It's now much easier to get an lj should you desire one.

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

As soon as I teach the organizers how to use LJ, I'll send around an announcement. I'll also have it posted in the linguists and lj-nifty ljs.

(I just have to set up a dummy LJ for my linguist-self first, as I don't want my linguist colleagues reading my LJ.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm confused about the linguist LJ thing -- are we friending them so they can use our LJ posts, or our Buffista posts?

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Yeah, I have to say I don't see the point of "friend the linguist LJ and then they can use your posts." Too much work, too many people having to open LJs, too much having to keep track of who uses what pseudonym where.

If I only had a brain...

Excellent point, Michele. Some of us (Suela, I'm looking at YOU) have different identities in different places. I'm not Betsy HP or any variant thereof on LJ.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Heh. I'm DXMachina everywhere!!!

Well, except for porn sites about giantesses, and the online gaming community.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It sounds to me like the LJ thing is separate from the Buffista thing. But I could be wrong.

My LJ username looks a lot more like my B.org name than yours does, missy.
