A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

On November 4, the admins mailbox received the following message. Despite our Stompy Superpowers, we forgot about it until now:

Subject: Apologies to everybody

I'd like to apologise for my behaviour earlier on in the year. Turns out I was having a psychotic episode -I'm schizophrenic you see - sorry to everyone I offended. I am back on medication and stable again now. I am glad to hear that Angel is back for a 5th season I hope you have a good one,

Zoe

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm really pleased to hear that.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Also pleased. Not at all surprised.

Not sure what, if anything, we should do, but maybe say something nice back to her? (Maybe not, I don't know...)

I don't think a response is necessary.

Yeah, prolly not. Not sure we want to encourage her to try to return.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm glad she's doing better.

A reply might be nice since she made the effort to tell us.

And t cracks open big can of worms maybe we could come up with some sort of probationary reactivation of an account policy for this sort of situation...

Ack, worms! Worms in new places!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If we don't have a reinstatement policy in place we should have one [eta: I'm including "never" as a policy]. I don't understand what you see as "this situation". It's not like even she asked to come back.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I vote that we each wish Zoe well in our own way, but I don't think a message from the board is necessary.

Ann, that's a ferret.

And maybe we could come up with some sort of probationary reactivation of an account policy for this sort of situation...

No quarrel in theory. But since she hasn't asked to be reinstated, I don't see a need to hammer out the details now.

(ETA: Um, IOW, what ita said while I was xposting.)
