IIRC, we had the FotR thread on WX, and when we moved over here the timing just happened to be about right to start up TTT discussion. So this is the first time we've really had to think about thread closing/renaming/whatev.

I don't think that we should just rename the thread (any thread, really). Was there a particular reason why we don't just let the current thread run its course?

There is precedent for renaming a thread. Bitchy Fic went general, and is now Buffista Fic, for example.

I think it's just to keep the subject/thread agreement.
