Since we're apparently offering assessments, I found your post petty in both content and delivery. You were complaining about being spoiled for 22 minutes of a game show, as if that 22 minutes of lost suspense somehow trumps someone else's right to share her actual life experience with her friends.

I was expressing regret over being spoiled, and, while having no problem with the sharing of life experience, was wishing there'd been a little warning for the crazy game show watcher sitting over here.

It would have been more constructive to have actually asked for a clarification of board policy for shows we don't typically discuss, than to sigh at someone, and be specific enough about it, to note you weren't doing so with a wink.

The appropriate place to do so is Natter, yes? I'm not currently reading Natter, plus, 36 hours late. I will congratulate her here and now, as I do think it's a wonderful thing that she got to be on a game show (and, I'm jealous).

Why are you categorizing it as if it is laughable, ita? To me, that exacerbates the situation. Did anyone say it was laughable? The only place I laughed was where someone rude enough to tag others "incredibly rude" for expressing their opinions, was doling out the manners lessons in the first place. Yes, I realize the irony.

I happen to believe that jengod's experience trumps his complaint, and should, given the type of show, the level of spoilage, and the fact that it's her real life, versus 22 minutes of suspense worked up during a quiz show.
