All is well that ends in pizza.

Is this the place we propose new thread titles or the other one?

I can never remember.

Angel is almost done.

How about

Angel III: Big Damn Evil

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I was going to say, but many have beaten me to it, that social capital can be lost in Bureaucracy, but it can certainly also be gained. Anyone who jumpstarts a stalled conversation, or makes the formal proposal of something we've all been thinking about, has done a service and gains regard thereby.

We manage a lot by social conformity -- by failing to disagree strenuously due to its not being worth the hassle. I tend to think it would be impossible to codify that entirely into a constitutional document, not without sucking the life out of it all. Which isn't to say I'm not still working on that Buffista Law Summary, because even we forget what rules we've passed, and have to fumble around vaguely, and it would be nice to have a cheatsheet to go back to.

I'll hopefully finish it over the weekend.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Seconding Big Damn Evil. Er, not--seconding seconding, just saying, yeah, it's a good title, let's go with that. Unless we're voting, and can't vote before it's seconded, several times, in fact. In which case, I'm the first second. Which, not the First Evil, not even big damn evil, but you know.

Yeah. Like the title. Go with that.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Oh! I've just got the Big Damn Evil joke!

Carry on.

Another social casualty...

I suggested (from "Players") Angel 3: It's not like the last time, huh, Monkey Boy?

(Please let me know if I should whitefont any of the above.)

Wolfram--I want to clarify my prst by saying I was attempting (and not very well, apparently) to describe how your suggestions FEEL, not claiming that you actually said any of those things. For my part, I want to assure you that you are welcome to suggest anything, any time. I was under the impression that we were talking about why people didn't respond (lack of context, social capital, disimissing board history, etc) to your suggestions--NOT that we were saying that you shouldn't feel free to make them.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Hi. This is a great discussion, everyone, really - it's nice to see the thread working well!

I missed, though, where/why Zoe got banned. Was it for the PF posts? Could I bother someone to recap? Maybe Nilly it? Thank you!

Our wings are not tired.

Michele, I think the last straw was her insulting several members in the Buffy thread prior to the watch 'n post. Misspelling names on purpose and ignoring requests for civility.

Was it for the PF posts?

I think so. Since PF is a Buffista zone, posting there after being suspended was the same as if she'd tried to post here under a different name.
