If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It always looks like a staple. Okay, when I draw it.

When I draw pi, it looks like two t's connected at the top. The upper case verdana pi looked like an actual staple, i.e., and upside-down, squared-off U.

Er, I always thought lowercase delta looked kind of like a sperm.

Me, too.

Plei, how do you type an em dash? Is there an HTML code? I always go with the --.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Natter 17 = 4² - cos(π): Nilly — Could This Be Mathier?

Love. Love. Love

I'm just shocked that no one's yet pointed out that I used an emdash, rather than an endash.
I was working, I just got here. And it totally shames me that I noticed. Though I am pretending I wouldn't have mentioned it.
Go space! Choose space!
Nooooooooooooo!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Cindy, it's — — although I'm not Plei, as you can see by my unorthodox and radical but far more readable and aestetically pleasing spaces.

it totally shames me that I noticed

Why be ashamed? After reading the rest of the discussion, do you really think you were the only one to notice?

Cass is right. You space people are so wrong.

I'm not loving the Pi sign, only because it only looks like a staple.

You're not Plei, I can tell, because even though you're equal in hottitude, you suffer from the scourge of unsightly spaces. The—will not be spaced!

No, Buffistas can be counted on for this very thing. Just that it felt like *work* for a minute.

and then I read this:

how do you type an em dash? Is there an HTML code?
and I was reading coding sites in Italian looking for it... It took me a few minutes to realize it was Italian cause most of the stuff I was reading was just code.

eta: content

Natter 17 = 4² - cos(π): Nilly — Could This Be Mathier?
I like this. With the better font for pi of course. (and no spaces but why be picky?) t runs away

I look more rad than Lutheranism

In matters of style — and I'm sure I'm right — em dashes take a space on either side.

Our wings are not tired.

So I just got back to my desk and I see over 100 messages in Bureaucracy since I left this morning. I'm so pleased to see it was all about Nilly and the mathier Natter 17. I can't wait to see her delight when she gets back.
