There's code to close it when the thread reaches 10,000 posts. Stompies can also manually open and close threads. I just don't know if the automatic close routine would kick in if we reopened the thread for posting after 10,000. ita would know.

I mean, I know I can send money to Jesse's paypal (it is still Jesse, right?) and have it contribute, but it would be nice to have the option.

(Very tentative, but...) What about having a thread for just deathmatches? If they don't overload the server, I mean. We're going to be out of room in that thread pretty soon, and that way we could run deathmatches over the summer, then close the thread once we got into high traffic mode. first post in bureaucracy, eep
