Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The system will close it automatically. Of course, one of the stompies could go in and reopen it, but I don't know what would happen when the next post is made. We could try.

Oh, I thought stompies closed the threads. Sorry.

There's code to close it when the thread reaches 10,000 posts. Stompies can also manually open and close threads. I just don't know if the automatic close routine would kick in if we reopened the thread for posting after 10,000. ita would know.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I mean, I know I can send money to Jesse's paypal (it is still Jesse, right?) and have it contribute, but it would be nice to have the option.

It is still me, but now you can send $$ to donations@buffistas.org, all official-like.

Religion isn't the cause of wars. It's the excuse. - Christopher Brookmyre

(Very tentative, but...) What about having a thread for just deathmatches? If they don't overload the server, I mean. We're going to be out of room in that thread pretty soon, and that way we could run deathmatches over the summer, then close the thread once we got into high traffic mode. first post in bureaucracy, eep

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The thread will keep shutting down after 10,000.

Yo yo. I just got a message that Buffistas.org is going to expire soon. Are the admins on this or should I reconnect with them?

Jen, I just sent an e-mail to Jesse, so we can move .org onto the same account as .net and .com.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What I want to do is transfer .org to domaindiscover, right? I can do that.

Ayup.

It'll give some instructions of what to do on the other end, so just forward those to me, and hopefully this will all be smooth like buddah.
