And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Nilly, btw, your problem periodically happens to me on an old Netscape. Usually, after a while it goes away. If it doesn't, lemme know, and we'll have a look again. Dunno why.

Re: Rio's id change...well, we did used to all think she was a gay male. Heh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Liese, if it happens again, can you have a look at/send me the HTML?

Where is our link to Amazon, again? I just linked to them in Press. I went to the FAQ first, and did a control+F on "amazon" but couldn't find it. I checked out a few of the FAQ entries that seemed like they might hold the information, but they didn't.

I know we don't want to be crass about this, but I actually know Jon has set up his account to link there and will give us the money when it adds up to anything significant. I know we have a link somewhere, and I still couldn't find it. People who don't know we get any benefit from going to Amazon through b.org, are going to have a hard time knowing it, if people who already know can't find it.

(For the record, in the FAQ, I checked the following entries: Funding/Donations, Buffista Merchandise, Phoenix board, and Links.)

I do see that the Where Do I Get Buffy on Tape/DVD entry, that links to Amazon for each season of BtVS has "wobbly music" in the URL. But I thought there was a general link to Amazon, so that no matter what we bought, we'd get the $$.

Did I misunderstand? Am I missing it? Should we clarify a little, if not? I know we don't want to beg. I do think we could add a link and a one line, straight forward mention in the Funding/Donations section, without being gross.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

There's no general link anywhere. It's only in those specific links you found.

The current Funding/Donations entry reads:

Q. Cool! How can I help support the Buffista Phoenix Board? Money, right?
A. We would love financial support for a webhost, etc. If you would like to contribute some of your hard-earned money to the Phoenix Board, Jesse and Sophia Brooks are heading up the fundraising effort. Any amount is appreciated, none too small, none too big. E-mail donations@buffistas.org with your name, username and email, and they will e-mail you back with instructions about where to send a check. If you prefer to donate by PayPal, you can direct your donation to donations@buffistas.org.

Would it be too much, if we added to the Funding/Donations section of the FAQ, something along the lines of:

We also like free money. It's the best kind. We get it, and it costs you nothing. If you shop at Amazon.com, please consider using this link (and then provide a general link with the wobblymusic thingie) to get there. Thanks.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I've always felt we should have a link to "Help fund us" information right there on the left hand margine. But that's just me.
