If we ever start a general TV thread, "Buffista Bippy Drive" must be the title of TV1.
Since nobody's given any details on where the word comes from, it's from a '60s TV show called Laugh-In. Think of it as sort of a prototype for both SNL and Airplane.
The gags flew fast and furious, often one-liners. Some sketches, often with recurring characters. It included lots of catch phrases, including "Sock it to me!"
Of the regular cast, Goldie Hawn is probably best known today. Her persona was -- please forgive the sexist phrase, but no other fits -- the dumb blonde.
