What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

What's the rationale behind 7 again? I was just going to go for 10.

There was a concern voiced that some of the numbers getting thrown around were too high. So I was suggesting a compromise between 5 and 10.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

I remember making a suggestion a few of months ago to have the Buffy quotes available like the BROQ, so that people can go sit at that generator and amuse themselves.

Michele has a quote generator at [link] Do you want to add it to the links page?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sorry about my bad post in Beep me. I could have sworn I was in Natter.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Spankings!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I did the same thing, Perkins.

I can't even.

That happened to my Happy Birthday Fay post a couple of days ago. I was pretty sure I wasn't in Beep Me. Sorry about that, ita-who-mends.

Note to self: Read New is dangerous when you're on a conference call and not paying as much attention as you should.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Note that the thread name is in bold face right above the posting box.

(not judging; just pointing it out)

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

That's the only drawback I've found with "read new" instead of "read next" within a given thread: if you copy something to respond to and hit new, you're likely to find yourself in an entirely different subbed thread. I've managed two "D'OH!" moments, which is a pretty small percentage of Homers, all things considered.

Training myself to look. at. thread. title. before posting. Truly.

Hence the D'oh-- pay attention comment.
