Nobody

Sure, but we've been talking about other places in terms of what has worked there, and what hasn't, and what we can learn from those places. Hec was talking about reducing numberslutting *here*, so saying "I don't numberslut elsewhere" is irrelevant. Plus, as Nou points out, it wouldn't have been clear to someone not at PF that Deb was discussing PF in the first place.

I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't know deb had her own thread, and I still figured out what she was saying. What I can't figure out is why you're taking this much objection to it. I can understand the original confusion, but this is getting silly. All she was doing was telling a friend that she never numbersluts anywhere, only instead of saying "anywhere", she mentioned where her any is.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Or, to summarize Cindy's post: Let it go, Michele.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

900 people have their refresh rates set at 5 minutes.

They are going to be startled.

I can bump it by changing one line of code and running one SQL statement.

What's the rationale behind 7 again? I was just going to go for 10.

I think you should make the default whatever you think is appropriate, ita.

The minimum reload time is now ten minutes.

And in terms of board usage, there have been 206 unique posters this month so far.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Re the refresh thing - I have mine at zero and just check "read new", but I only subscribe to five threads regularly (two more added at the moment, but one coming out until Elena gets back).

I'm stone ignorant about this, but I'm deducing (deducting? defibrillating?) that the more threads you subscribe to, the more useful the auto refresh is?

Aw Kristen, don't cry. We're all using read new. We've reset our refreshes to zero. I have my profile set to load 50 posts at a time. I'm going to change it to 75, now. We'll be all right. Any feed back on how much turning off the RQG helped us?

Or, to summarize Cindy's post

If you keep concising me up, you're going to have to get me flowers or candy or summat. :)

Aw Kristen, don't cry.

Actually, I am crying tears of joy right now.

For the reason why, y'all might want to wander over to Board.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Hey ita, is the change in refresh rate supposed to have gone through? It now says that the lower limit is 10 minutes, but the little number in the box is still 5, and I'm still refreshing after 5. (I'll change it manually if necessary, but I'm going to leave it alone for now.)
