Oficially, she has been suspended for two months, right? Which means that, on June 15th, if the consensus of the community is that she has shown signs of being able to coexist with others, she will be here again...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

When she made the threats, she violated etiquette again, so the ban is automatic. I don't even think we have to discuss it at this point. She's done for good here and on WX already. ita e-mailed Lance to figure out what to do about PF.

I know DX agreed that she probably should be.

I should've been clearer. Violating etiquette while under suspension is an automatic ban.

Isn't a ban just an indefinite suspension? What I mean is, isn't it just a matter of never unlocking her account, or is there another procedure? FWIW, you can put me in the ban her indefinitely corner, because it's become clear to me that she's a troll.

Correct.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Technically, it's a matter of never unlocking the account -- we don't delete the account, because then the name would be free for her or someone else to register with it again. Policy-wise, it's a matter of never unlocking and never going to, either.

So no further action is needed. She's banned, then. (I think.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

He just asked what had happened to the Phoenix (as far as I saw, I don't know if he went over to NAFDA). I didn't think it was a big deal. Had he joined in the discussion, I would've had a problem.

That seems like a letter of the law/spirit of the law thing. I mean, if someone slipped back in under a new name and was perfectly nice and we found out a year later would we ban them for life? I'd vote nah.

I disagree, Trudy. We should correct the wording for any future warnings, but Zoe's posting of insults and threats in People's Forums clearly indicates that she's not willing to abide by community standards. I don't think we need to communicate with her any further.

Hmmm... very good point. She can't log on and then figures out "guess they mean here too". What the heck.

I don't want to belittle Cindy's feelings IN ANY WAY here but I think the forever ban right now would be overkill since she was already told it was temporary. She acts like a dick in three months or she sneaks on now and THEN we can do it.

Have y'all noticed I err on the side of caution on this? Feh.

But Paul, by posting at our forum at PF, she's given up that right,

Oh yes, I was just being a nitpicker for formalities. Notice my extremely tongue-in-cheek tone above...

I'd add more about her comments about me, but honestly, I prefer not to think of such dark, ugly business at all. I prefer placing my energies into creating things of beauty.

So, Buffy. That's a good show, right?
