Nobody

What Teppy and DX said.

jengod - I know you said you're not on the board, but what is that for - is it for the domain name? If so, is it safe to have the password out here?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I deleted jengod's post because I think it's a really really really bad idea to have our Network Solutions domain password out in public. Network Solutions is evil enough without worrying about a secondary anonymous evil messing with our domain name.

I've sent an email to the admin mailbox with Jen's original post.

Good thinking, team!

I figured most of the hardcores hang out here so it was pretty safe. Thanks Jon B.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Burrell, would your solution be that everything was just in Natter, or that everything people want to talk about has its own thread?

Why do you assume those are the only options? There may be logical ways to group shows, or there may be a surprising dearth of interest in discussing some of the shows that we currently think look interesting.

However, that's pretty much my feeling on posting the Alias and TAR stuff in Natter, too, so I'd really rather that stuff were in general TV thread.

Ah, I can see that. I just skip those posts. Er, following that logic, you can see why I am very lukewarm on a general tv thread. But hey, knock yourselves out. The board is here for more than me, and what's one more thread?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

There may be logical ways to group shows

HoYay
Eye Candy
Reality Shows
Good Writing

Problem is, there might be some overlap....

Please note: the above was entirely in jest....

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Actually, Steph-- those are fairly logical ways to group shows. I think Due South is now the HoYay thread. Or at least the Due South/Stargate/Highlander thread...

Due South/Stargate/Highlander

I don't watch any of those, so I have never stuck so much as a toe in that thread.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I like the idea of consolidating the Buffy threads and opening a general TV thread, because I find it hard enough keeping up with the few threads I participate in now, and having to dig through Natter to discuss Alias or some new show is just too much for me to handle at this time. Making the main Buffy thread the only Buffy thread after closing Quotable with the Ultimate Deathmatch makes sense. I think we could just close the Previously on Buffy thread wherever we find it, and pick up the numbering (or start back at 1) with a Previously on Angel thread when the syndicated reruns kick in without any fuss. I think the Firefly thread will need to remain open, with the DVD release due in December and discussion following that, plus the movie potential on the horizon. I anticipate that if we don't open up a general TV thread (or one focusing on Buffy alumns), the Firefly thread may morph into a TV thread, like it became the Miracles thread back when it was running.

After visiting other boards on a variety of topics, I know that I would appreciate having a place for quality Buffista discussion of other TV shows, rather than having to brave the wilds of the Internet.
