But really, can we just delete her user ids forever, here
If we deleted them, she'd be able to reregister with those names. I think you mean keep her ids permanently deactivated, and I agree.
PF may be a little-used last resort contingency forum, but it's still a Buffista Zone. By continuing her obnoxious trolling there, I say she's forfeited her Buffistadom forever.
Would it be possible, feasible, and/or advisable to contact the host of her webpage about the threats contained in her page?
Definitely not advisable. I don't see threats; I see name calling. Even if they were threats, the webhost is like the phone company. They're not responsible. It's also a dangerous precedent. There have been many times when someone here has badmouthed a boss or cow-orker or ex-friend.
Cindy, I have been thinking the same thing about as you regarding making some threads registered Buffistas only. I don't think it's in any way exclusionary. If a lurker wants to see what's going on in Bureaucracy, all they have to do is register. The only intent is to prevent people like vw's ex-friends, or suspended posters from viewing some things that would be best left private. I don't know if it's doable from a technical standpoint, however.
While we're locking stable doors, can the nearest Stompy please rename me as just "Jim" (if you rename me "JustJim!" I will hunt you down...) I'm feeling a little more identifiable than I'd like to...
Done, Jim.
(edit: and the new look suits you)
FYI, though, anyone who feels sufficiently distured/threatened - the ISP that site is attached to is also a telco provider. Therefore, if you do feel harrassed, you are not dealing with someone anonymous - the UK police are fairly good about this kind of thing. Obviously, I'm not going to pursue that line of approach, and I advise against it, but the option is open.
At least I've worked out who Julie is. She is the skin eating monster who tears strips off of people she believes to be weaker than herself...didn't it get slayed by Buffy?
At least she spelt my name right :)
