You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

BTW, is the search feature still disabled? I need to go see if I put a piece of fic in Bitchy Fic without having the sense to save a copy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yes, search is still disabled, and will be for the nonce.

I skimmed through WX and enforced our suspension there also, as much as I can.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Add another "thanks" to the pile, DX. Sorry I wasn't around to help out. You done good.

Thanks for all the fish.

Stompies are often put in difficult situations, thank you DX and everyone else.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

I was going to come, after reading UnAm, and rescind my previous arguments against banning her. I'm glad I was preempted. Holli, Consuela, DX, Sean; Nicely handled.

Oh, and secret message to Allyson you weren't out of line. You were perfectly nice to her.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

Talk about spending more time reading than writing. I read both bureaucracies and lightbulb and didn't have a thing to say for all my elevated pulse rate (train wrecks are exciting, even secondhand). I just have to post once to feel like I participated.

I had the same problem in Natter the other day, with the word "schmoopy." Seriously.

Does this word have an offensive origin?

I've pissed off several people (maybe up to 10, but hey, amnesty!) but have, with those exceptions, been, well, maybe not the model poster, but certainly not that bad. , even if I do use runon sentences.

hip deep in pie

Um, not to beat a dead horse, but somebody recently suspended is dancing around PF, and creating new threads there.

DXMachina - Apr 16, 2003 6:51:44 am PDT #375 of 10005
You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Looks like we're going to need a new Diaspora folder over at PF. Zoe is setting up housekeeping there. It seems that the Buffistas have a politics thread at long last.

I, for one, I'm fine with that, knock yourself out and all that, and there's not really a lot of stuff in that folder. I'm not sure if there are any remedies we could take in any case, other than dragging Lance into it.

Having said that, we probably should contact Lance to find out if there's any way of protecting the Diaspora Natter thread, and any subsequent folders we put up over there.

edit: x-post with Sue.

I don't know if we can suspend users from the PF threads, can we?

I don't think so, unless the folder owner (ita) has powers to do it.

As I said above, I don't have a problem with her frolicking in that particular folder. Now, if she tried the same thing at WX...
