Not javachik

You're kidding? A vote NOW? In the middle of the F2F?

I vote that the vote be extended by 1 or 2 weeks to give, ahem, moi and anyone else who needs time to read the threads.

Or, whatever. I guess I'm a less active member these days so you guys can vote for me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Allyson made her call.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Allyson made her call.

Yeppers. It's really a yes or no, simple sort of thing. I'm not very complex. I think there's maybe 60 posts on the matter in Lightbulbs.

You just say that to lull us into a false sense of security.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Okay, I guess I missed something. Why are we waiting two months to create a thread if the vote comes in with a "yes" quorum majority?

I must have skipped that part in all the volumes of posts...

Thanks for all the fish.

I believe it was to discourage natter in the thread since 'Wonderfalls' wouldn't start until September or later.

Daniel, see discussion around Allyson "Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!" May 23, 2003 4:33:12 pm EDT (it's pretty much what Elena said).

Firefly 3: We're still flying. Not much, but enough.
?

I'd be with this; one can never have too much Mal'n'Simon near-quotage.

Disaffected college student

I tried to think of a way to compact that whole exchange into a thread title, but ultimately I think it works best as just "Still flying". It's the key phrase in the dialogue, and it does double duty as a reference to the show's failure to be completely dead yet.
