Um... (I have to ask, okay? I don't want an argument, but the a greatest of respect, I want to know, and I'm afraid I may regret this)... why are you bringing this up, Wolfram? I have a feeling that this should be something the stompies raise, if it's raised at all.

Me too. But they didn't want to. And I didn't want to either. But someone had to get this issue out because it affects someone who has for the past several months, followed the rules and that person, under the rules, can't post. And what he did beforehand - he's paid his dues for. That's all. Feel free to disagree.

Another social casualty...

Wolfram, with all due respect, unless someone is holding a gun to your head right now, you are picking the time. Mieskie/Schmoker/Anathema (please note: 3 names, 2 personalities, 1 person) has been BANNED for violating community standards. Not suspended. BANNED. For you to bring this up now is a misunderstanding on your part of the situation. Please familiarize yourself with the situation before you make things worse.

And I say is M/S/A wants to come back, he should make an appeal to the Stompies, and ask them bring it to the board at a time of their choosing, if they so desire.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Also, this. There is no need for a big kerfuffle. I think we shouldn't post about this any more until we hear from one of the stompies.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why is Lightbulb open? I don't think it should be, since we can't discuss a proposal that's not been posted in there. I'm going to shut it again until Allyson's ready to word her proposal and start the discussion off with that. To obviate the "as I understand it" ness that would likely happen.

As for mieskie, my understanding is that he is banned for violating terms of suspension, and any revisiting of that needs to take that into account.

Thank you for answering me, Wolfram, but I'm with justkim-- and quite possibly with Jesse. He's banned, end of argument.

Lightbulb was open by mistake?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I had opened it because Allyson made a proposal, it received the necessary seconds, and it needed to be unlocked for her to post the proposal. I didn't think it we'd get this big of a delay in her posting the proposal.

Should we delete our posts there and repost after the proposal?

Allyson's probably on her way in to work, or actually working, or something.
