Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Suddenly I feel like a battered spouse: "But he's so great a lot of the time! And he didn't really mean it. And it's my fault, really -- if only I had done things differently, it wouldn't have happened...." Fuck that. I'm sorry, but really.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And he chose to take a voluntary suspension to prevent a kerfuffle, so that he could "do the time" and come back without rancor.

This, incidentally, was not my understanding. My understanding was that he volunteered to leave, period, so as to avoid more unpleasantness. I was never under the impression that he was serving out a voluntary suspension.

And what Jesse said.

Thrive to spite them

I can not believe that this is coming up again.

Also, Wolfram I think your timing is really bad, we haven't finished dealing with the current issue at hand, which is currently frustrating a lot of people.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Wolfram, with all due respect to you--Anathama/Schmoker/Mieskie are all the same person. If one breaks the rules of the suspension--it doesn't leave any leeway for alternate posting personalities.

This is all I'm going to say on the matter. I think the banning should stand and I don't want to see this place implode because of this.

cereal to add: WROD to the bad timing of this suggestion.

My timing sucks but I didn't pick it. I didn't want to bring this up. But the suspension was over a couple of days ago, and the account was not reinstated. Maybe I understood the situation wrong, maybe I didn't. But, we all are here posting and there's a former member who's not and in my opinion has done the time. I thought he was on a suspension.

And Jesse, let's not compare this to battered spouse syndrome. Please.

Um... (I have to ask, okay? I don't want an argument, but the a greatest of respect, I want to know, and I'm afraid I may regret this)... why are you bringing this up, Wolfram? I have a feeling that this should be something the stompies raise, if it's raised at all.

He was on suspension until he kept posting here, at which point he was banned. Even with different names, it was the same person. That person is now banned. Period.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm sitting in Jesse's corner.

Me too. But they didn't want to. And I didn't want to either. But someone had to get this issue out because it affects someone who has for the past several months, followed the rules and that person, under the rules, can't post. And what he did beforehand - he's paid his dues for. That's all. Feel free to disagree.
