No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I swear I know how to spell Sartre.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Sadly, I even quoted your post and didn't notice. Long day...

I've been working on a song about the difference between analogy and metaphor.

Back now.

And really, overall respect for the community is why I won't kick Zoe again. Though, my respect has been waning in recent times, I still have enough to want to explain myself, and to hear people out as to why they are upset with me.

I'm upset because "subhuman" is a terrible thing to call anyone, and it's a terrible justification for any action against anyone. It's different from criticizing someone's behavior, because behavior can change; "subhuman" is just an epithet, like "kike," "nigger," or "fag," (and yes, I'm using those examples because I do find it that upsetting), and I don't want to see it used even on someone I agree has been detrimental to the community.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Let us never speak of this again.

(Edit: And of course I meant that for DX, not Micole.)

Nobody

I move that amyth has to be my slave, and do my laundry because she made me cry (and I suspect she made the baby Jesus cry, too).

Any seconds?

Speak of what, Jesse?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm upset because "subhuman" is a terrible thing to call anyone, and it's a terrible justification for any action against anyone.

If it helps, I understand that you see it that way, and why you're upset, but it is why I said it, and I still think it. I mean, if it changes your perspective of me, that's fine. I can accept that. I'm just not mincing words. This is how much I hate Zoe. And, have you ever seen me this angry about anything else besides voting, in Buffistaland? Huh?

Thrive to spite them

I'm going to rephrase what I said and deleted, mostly I deleted it because I thought I was ....I was tired of being pushed to the point of ranting.

Here's what I see---those of us who want Zoe warned and keep posting to defend out position are "piling on" her.

However, those people how are against Zoe being warned and keep trying to convince everyone otherwise are not doing any type of piling on.

Which doesn't seem right to me. It's either both or it's not. You can't have it both ways.

I've seen it posted that we should treat Zoe nicely because "Do unto others". However, if Zoe's actions are any indication of how she wants to be treated, nice polite, rational discussion is not how we should be acting toward her.

Frankly, I'm offended and pissed off that people are seriously asking the community as a whole to bend over backwards and accomodate one person who posts rambing incoherent nonsense most of the time and then doesn't even come here to defend herself but makes vague, possible references to it as she serial posts her way through a thread.

What it says to me is that HER comfort is more important than the dozens of posters who have a problem with her.

I can't tell you how mad that makes me.

Also, if one more person pulls out the "she might have possibly been hosptialized for mental health reasons, but we don't know becuase she posted some vague stuff and that weird link" I'm going to demand that I no longer be held to the Community Standards and be given the same special treatment that Zoe is been given.

Because I don't know if she's been in a psych ward, but I know I have.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

askye, I hear you and while I realize there are points other than the warning in there, the thing is, we are working to get a system up and running so something can be done. Until this vote happens, no one is going to get warned. No one.

Okay! Okay! You've got yourself a slave. Do I need to wear a collar?
