Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I thought that votes were supposed to end debate...

Up with the sun

Shawn, understood.

If no one else can see the possibility that we might someday want someone back after a ban, I'll drop this. I admit it is unlikely, given how unwilling we've been to even warn anyone.

Thrive to spite them

I'm really not trying to be argumentative, I just wanted to make sure I understood what he was saying. I probably should have emailed him privately about it, I'm sorry.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I just think you're putting the cart before the horse. I understand the sentiment that sometimes you need a procedure in place ahead of time, to deal with sticky situations when they arise. I don't think that this is one of those times. If someone is banned and later there's a desire to unban, we can deal with it then.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

And making people like Burrell who want no change BE disenfranchised.

Just for clarification, I never said I am accross the board against change. I said that on those issues where I don?t want change, I vote ?No.? I have actually voted ?Yes? on most of the issues raised for a vote.

Sorry for the misrepresentation, Burrell.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

yes, please.

Anyone unsure of what was said, please go back and read the last 50 posts or so. It seems every 10 posts someone says "wait, I'm confused". Every other post is saying "what I think X meant was this".

Please please please can someone tell me where the list of items that have voted on and passed is gonna live? Is a Rules document being drafted? Because obviously we are not all clear on what has passed and what the specifics are (I gotta say for me, if it was more than a few weeks ago, I've forgotten).

No worries, Sophia.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Msbelle, Nutty is gathering particulars and putting it all together even as we speak (though we're not actually speaking and I don't know if she's working on it right this second).

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I did not know that Nutty was doing that. Great! As always, I will be happy to htmlify the results.

I was thinking, due to it's size, it should have it's own page. A link from the FAQ and maybe etiquette would be appropriate. Do we want to make it more accessible than that? For instance, do we want to put a link in the lefthand column (with the FAQ, how-to, etiquette, etc. links)?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think a link from the etiquette page is enough. I mean, all of our procedural vote-y things are basically extensions and clarifications of the basic "don't be a jerk" etiquette we started out with.
