I'd like to make the following proposal for amendment to the spoiler policy currently in effect:
It will no longer be considered a spoiler to reveal guest stars in upcoming episodes of a new or existing show as long as the actor is new to the show.
The scope of this proposal does not include revealing any character or plot details about the role. Just the actor's name.
Comments, criticism, etcetera welcomed.
This seems entirely reasonable. A guest appearance may cause me to tune into a show for the first time. It doesn't seem spoilery to me as long as the mention doesn't reveal that the guest appears to kill off a regular character or is to be revealed as the long lost child of the lead. No details.
Seems quite reasonable. I'm all for it.
Of course, I should note that I am a reformed spoiler phobe since I no longer watch tv at all pretty much. Spoilage seems irrelevant. But in all honesty that may make me a bit cavalier about it all. I assume that some people feel quite strongly about it.
Yeah, I don't think I care about this, but I am agnostic about spoilers. I don't seek them out, but don't avoid the media, either, so I'll see stuff that's in articles and generally don't mind.
I am agnostic about spoilers
You believe that the existence of spoilers is unknowable?
