I know that, this year, we need to do November. I wonder if, in the future, it might not be better to do it in October, so that we're done before the November/December holiday/finals madness.
I'm traveling Sunday through Wednesday, although I should have internet access at my hotel. I would normally get the ballet finalized and update the voting page by Tuesday at 8am (PDT). I should still be able to do it, but I'll let people know in a few days if I think I'll have any delays.

October is good because it's sort of a slow(ish) gap between back to school/holidays.
If a vote counter is still needed, I'll volunteer.
Revised Proposal:
October will be our official pimp-n-post phase for the coming year's F2F. During each October, people may propose a location in the appropriate region of the country based on our normal rotation, pimp its fine qualities, research possible venues for hotel rooms/prom (preferably the same venue for both or within walking distance), and suggest up to two possible dates in spring/summer for our official annual F2F. The date(s) for each location are completely up to the pimp-er's discretion.
At the beginning of November, we will vote on the proposed location/date combo. If the pimp-er offered more than one possible date, we will hold a second vote to pick a final date for the winner. Once the date and venue has been set, the pimp-er will book the hotel so we can begin the process of raising the necessary money and making necessary investments in tickets, corsets, and sparkly tiaras.
Since we have already missed this deadline for the 2011 F2F, we will do pimpage in November and vote at the beginning of December this year.
