Sounds fair to me and I agree that we can close Heroes at any time.
Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
I gave up Lost a long time ago. I might pick up DVDs from Netflix at sometime, but I can always mine the closed threads for thoughts of others at that time. Same with Heroes, I quit watching midway through the season before last. Another show to clog my Netflix queue with.
As a viewer of Lost, I think one month after the finale is fine for closing the thread.
I have stopped watching both, so I defer to the people within the thread. I think 1 month after the end for non-Joss shows seems a reasonable rule of thumb.
I'm not subscribed to either thread anymore - has someone posted in each that this discussion is happening in case people don't read Press?
Closing Heroes now and lost 4 weeks after the finale sounds good to me (watch and discuss both, ftr)
Eta: just went and mentioned this discussion in both threads.
I agree with the Heroes closing and Lost deadline. Any comments I make about either show, from here on out, would probably be related to cast members or fever dreams...both of which I can do in Natter.
eta: Thanks -t, for the in-thread mention.
Imma thinkin' this here might be one of them landslide kinda votes.
Once again, sadly enough, the only constructive thing I have to offer the voting discussion is my volunteering to count the votes. So at least there's that.
(But, hey, I did not skip/m! And it felt soooooo good! And I'm nattering in a please-don't-natter thread and therefore shutting up now.)
[Edit: I saw that there's no mention of the discussion in Press, so I posted there. Hope it's OK and that no toes were stepped on.]
I think there'll be a lot to discuss about Lost after the finale. But if a four-week deadline is the accepted limit, that sounds OK.
